Garrett

Writer & Poet

As a thoughtful writer, and occasional poet, Garrett is at home in McDowell Hall at St. John's College, a liberal arts college with a Great Books curriculum.  His works are pensive, yet upbeat just like his personality.  

Fascinated by architectural history he loves touring Georgian five part architecture; several of the grand houses of this style are located in Annapolis.  For fun he often quizzes his friends on building details, such as: name all the brick bond patterns, or what is the difference between a gambrel roof and a "Dutch" roof?  

Garrett loves to help others and manages the philanthropy program for Shop Annapolis Cats.
