Furniture Designer

Mittens is an award winning furniture designer and is known for her signature heart designs.  It's her reminder to appreciate special people in your life, and also yourself, every day.  

She lives at the home of John Shaw, the famous eighteenth century furniture maker, on State Circle.  Using the same techniques as Shaw, she crafts the finest furniture including designs in the elegant Chinoiserie style.  For houses she prefers the simpler Federal style for its restrained and classic design.  

Also trained in dendrochronology she is a building sleuth who examines the tree rings in lumber to determine when the structures were built.  

As a focused planner, she helps with planning events for Shop Annapolis Cats.
